Patna: The office of Bihar’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Saturday released the final polling percentage figures in three teachers and two graduate constituencies in the state. Bihar Legislative Council Who went to vote on Friday.
“After scrutiny of presiding officers diaries, voter turnout reports and other related documents, the final polling percentage in Gaya Teachers Constituency is around 84.08%, Kosi Teachers (83%), Saran Teachers (83.5%), Saran Graduates’ (60.9% ) and Gaya graduate’ (51%). Gaya Teachers’ constituency saw the highest turnout of 84.08%, while Gaya Graduates’ constituency saw the lowest turnout of 51%.
Voting was completed on five seats on Friday. The fate of a total of 48 candidates, including two women, was sealed at the ballot box. The counting of votes will take place on April 5.
A total of 2,75,436 voters were eligible to exercise their franchise in the five constituencies where 48 candidates were in the fray. Polling was held at a total of 631 polling stations spread over 27 districts in 8 mandals.
