Kristen Stewart directed a short film for indie rock supergroup Boygenius to accompany the group’s just-released debut studio album record.
short, direct title the film, premiered at the album’s event launch at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles. Lasting for 14 minutes, it combines scenes from the interconnected music videos for three songs featured on the album, namely ‘$20,’ ‘Emily I’m Sorry’ and ‘True Blue.
Boygenius singer Julian Baker appears in the first volume around a large house and a junkyard. In the second segment, Phoebe Bridgers stands in a monster truck arena and sings. Lucy Dacus is seen painting a house blue in the final segment.
