Second seed Sindhu registered a hard-fought 24-22, 22-20 win over the low-ranked shuttler from Singapore.
Sindhu entered the match with a 4–0 head-to-head record against Min.
Trailing 15-20, Sindhu showed great fighting spirit and saved seven game points to win the first game 24-22.
He used the body smash to great effect and converted the only game point opportunity he had.
In the second game, Sindhu was trailing 1-4 and opened with a five-point lead at 11-6.
The World No 33 though, played a brilliant drop shot to level the scores at 17-17. Sindhu then had two match points but Min managed to save both before driving a wide which gave the Indian her third match point.
This time Sindhu made no mistake as Min found the net.
This is Sindhu’s first final after winning gold and Commonwealth Games last year.
She will take on the winner of the other semi-final match between local favorite and top seed Carolina Marin and Gregoria Tunjung of Indonesia.
The win will boost the morale of Sindhu, who has been struggling for form since returning from a long injury lay-off.
Sindhu has dropped out of the top 10 for the first time since November 2016.
She made a first round exit at the prestigious All England Championship and failed to defend her Swiss Open Super 300 badminton title earlier this month.
She had exited in the first round of the Indian Open and Malaysia Open in January.
