Aiden Markram’s 126-ball 175 powered South Africa to a mammoth 370 for eight in the third World Cup Super League one-day international in Johannesburg on Sunday.

South Africa got off to a slow start after being sent in to bat in difficult morning conditions at the Wanderers Stadium. In the power play of 10 overs, he could only manage 42 runs for two wickets.

Markram shared half-century partnerships with Rassie van der Dussen (25) and Heinrich Klaasen (28) as the scoring rate increased before he and David Miller (91) shared a 199-run partnership for the fifth wicket . 118 balls.
