Gurgaon : The Punjab and Haryana High Court directed to quash the FIR registered against Gurgaon based facility The management company was accused of inflating the number of employees to siphon off provident fund (PF) contributions of several crores.

Justice Harnaresh Singh Gill of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on November 16, 2022, while hearing the petition of Vikas Dhull and others vs. State of Haryana and others, directed quashing of the FIR lodged in the PF fraud case. Dhull had filed a petition before the HC seeking quashing of the FIR against his company and its directors.
“FIR no. 260 dated 16.08.2021 registered at Police Station DLF Phase-1, Gurgaon under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 380, 408 and 120-B of IPC and all proceedings arising therefrom stand cancelled.
Based on a report submitted by ACP (DLF) Vikas Kaushik in November 2022, the HC directed quashing of the FIR.
The Gurgaon Police in its report before the court mentioned that no irregularities were found.
A report submitted by ACP (DLF) Vikas Kaushik said, “A comparison of the records of DMRC, Railways and PF department did not reveal any irregularities.”
A case of alleged financial fraud of Rs 150 crore was registered against the company and its directors in 2021.
He was accused of manipulating provident fund (PF) contributions of employees and siphoning off huge amounts of money in forged salary records and other documents of non-existent employees.
