Lucknow: To meet the shortage of doctors across the state, Dr. UP government will recruit 2,382 doctors through public service Commission, For this a proposal has been sent to the commission.

He said that continuous efforts are being made to meet the shortage of doctors by recruiting doctors on contract and regular basis. Along with this, special training is also given to make doctors specialists.
Under one such effort, we are going to recruit specialist doctors on 2382 posts.
The Deputy CM also said that under National Health Mission In NHM, 1903 doctors have been recruited on contract and 344 retired doctors have been re-employed.
In order to attract doctors coming on contract towards government service, a provision has also been made to pay them a monthly salary of up to Rs 5 lakh.
